Easy to Customize
Customization is the hallmark of CustomCart's pedigree. Nearly every aspect of the shopping cart software can be customized to match your website. By customizing the shopping experience, you create a more polished image of your company. To begin with, every page of the commerce software can display a custom HTML header (displayed at the top of all pages) and custom footer (displayed at the bottom of all pages). In addition, you may also display custom background wallpaper that you upload using the browser-based administrator.
Cascading Style Sheets
In addition to the customizable HTML header and footer, every element on every page can be modified by making use of Cascading Style Sheets. If you are unfamiliar with CSS, the basic idea is that you can change the look and feel of the shopping cart software (or catalog or gift registry software) by overriding default colors, typefaces, sizes and other aspects of text, buttons, and other elements. By including a link to your style sheet (done through the administrator), you may make the shopping cart checkout process look very similar to your own web site. All style names along with their default values are found in the Administrator.
Building Blocks and Templates
One of the key benefits of our shopping cart software is the degree to which you can customize the look and feel of the catalog, shopping cart, and gift registry systems. Most of the pages are constructed using a series of customizable areas called Building Blocks. These building blocks contain one or more templates which allow for a completely customized look and feel.
